Consultant in anaesthesia and intensive care medicine

I am a Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists and the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine and work as a consultant in the National Health Service.

I served on the Council of the RCoA from 2014 — 2018 and am the current SCATA Chairman.

As the President Elect of the Manchester Medical Society Section of Anaesthesia I begin my term of office in late 2021.

My healthcare interests are in safe anaesthesia, governance, process management and pragmatic critical care.

Open source developer

I have over twenty years of development experience in a broad range of languages and technologies and am an invited Fellow of the Faculty of Clinical Informatics.

Following early adoption and presenting at a UK launch event of the Meteor stack, I remain an active user of the ecosystem and code in a broad range of languages across front- and back-end.

I am currently a core developer working with the not-for-profit QRL Stiftung on open-source post-quantum security.
